Chloranton Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of common cold symptoms. It relieves from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. It also blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. Chloranton Tablet can be taken with or without food. Depending on the severity of your underlying illness, your doctor will decide the precise dose. You should take the medicine regularly while you do need it and try not to miss doses as it will become less effective. Using this medicine may cause insomnia, restlessness, and sleepiness in some people. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Chloranton Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Breast feedingSAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Chloranton Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Chloranton Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

DrivingUNSAFE

Chloranton Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

KidneySAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Chloranton Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Chloranton Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Chloranton Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

LiverCAUTION

Chloranton Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Chloranton Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Chloranton Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Chloranton Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
