Clotan Capsule

Clotan Capsule is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for the treatment of pain associated with acute attacks of migraines in adults. It may also be used to relieve pain associated with joints and muscles. Clotan Capsule can be taken with food, preferably with a glass of water. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it. The most common side effects of this medicine include mild indigestion, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, rash, headache, and dizziness. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. Before using it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using the medicine.

Clotan Capsule is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clotan Capsule is to be taken with food.

KidneyCAUTION

Clotan Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clotan Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised in these patients while taking this medicine. Use of Clotan Capsule is not recommended in severe kidney disease patients.

LiverCAUTION

Clotan Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Clotan Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Clotan Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
