Hyocimax-S Tablet

Hyocimax-S Tablet is used for pain relief. It relieves cramps or spasms of the stomach, intestines and bladder. It is also used to treat stomach and intestinal disorders, including peptic ulcer and irritable bowel syndrome. Hyocimax-S Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach or at least 30-60 minutes before a meal. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be taken at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you are also prescribed with antacids, then maintain a gap of at least 1 hour between two medicines. Constipation, dryness in the mouth and headache are some common side effects of this medicine. Most of these usually go away within a short time. If you are bothered by them or they go on for longer, talk to your doctor or nurse. It is advisable to stay hydrated or drink plenty of fluids to overcome mouth dryness and headache. You should not drive if this medicine makes you feel dizzy. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney disease or have history of ulcerative colitis. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Hyocimax-S Tablet is an anti-muscarinic. It works by decreasing the stomach secretions such as mucus and acids to relax the gut muscles. By doing this, it relieves abdominal cramps and pain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the strips/film with wet hands. Keep it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Hyocimax-S Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Hyocimax-S Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingCAUTION

Hyocimax-S Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

DrivingUNSAFE

Hyocimax-S Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Hyocimax-S Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision which may impair driving.

KidneySAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Hyocimax-S Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Hyocimax-S Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

LiverSAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Hyocimax-S Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Hyocimax-S Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Hyocimax-S Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.\\n
