Migon Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps in preventing migraine. This medicine is not used for treatment of acute migraine attack. Migon Plus Tablet should be taken on empty stomach, but try to have it same time regularly at a fixed time preferably at night. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Lifestyle modifications like avoiding stress, smoking, and processed food items may help this medicine work better. Few common side effects of this medicine include weight gain, slow heart rate, tiredness, depression, drowsiness and cold extremities. It may cause sleepiness so try not to drive or do anything that requires mental focus or rise slowly while from sitting position. The drug has the ability to hide the symptoms of the blood sugar level, hence monitor your blood sugar level regularly as well as blood pressure while taking this medicine. Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have liver or kidney, or depression disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.

Migon Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevents migraine.\tPropranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Migon Plus Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

If you miss a dose of Migon Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
