Oflomac 200 Tablet

Oflomac 200 Tablet is an antibiotic that helps treat bacterial infections. It is used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative bacteria. Oflomac 200 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. You may experience nausea and stomach pain as the side effects of this medicine. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own, but do consult your doctor if they bother you or persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may also occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools. You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Rarely, some people may have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, shortness of breath, or breathing problems. Let your doctor know if you have a history of kidney disease.

Oflomac 200 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Oflomac 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Oflomac 200 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
