Panderm V Gel

Panderm V Gel is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. It fights against the infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. It also prevents further spread of the infection. Panderm V Gel is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. Panderm V Gel may lead to a few common side effects like mild irritation and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. In case of any allergic reactions (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), it is advised to call for immediate medical help. Before using it, tell your doctor if you have an underlying disease or are taking medicines for any health condition. The medicines that are used externally usually do not get affected by other medicines, however, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any medicines to ensure safety. Panderm V Gel is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying

If you miss a dose of Panderm V Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
