Storax 500 Tablet

Storax 500 Tablet helps in the treatment of stroke, head injury, Alzheimer's disease, and memory loss (dementia) in Parkinson's disease. It protects the nerve cells in the brain from damage and also helps to repair the damaged nerve cells. Storax 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Your dose depends on your age and the condition you are being treated for. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Some common side effects that may be seen with this medicine include decreased blood pressure, stomach pain, diarrhea, irregular heart rate, rash, insomnia, occurrence or intensification of numbness of paralyzed extremities. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you ever had any problems with your kidneys or if you have or ever had any seizures (epilepsy or fits). Always let your doctor know about all the medicines that you are taking before you start with your treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding, before using this medicine.

Storax 500 Tablet is a nerve protecting medicine. It nourishes the nerve cells, protects them from damage and improves their survival by producing certain brain chemicals including phosphatidylcholine and acetylcholine. It also reduces free fatty acid buildup at the site of nerve damage.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Storax 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Storax 500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
