It prevents the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods. It also blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. You can take Trance MF 500mg/250mg Tablet at any time of day, with food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. It should be taken on first day of the periods to get the most benefit. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by the doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Inform your doctor if you do not observe any change in periods even after 3 consecutive periods. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trance MF 500mg/250mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

If you miss a dose of Trance MF 500mg/250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
