Zincold Plus Tablet

Zincold Plus Tablet is used to treat common cold symptoms. It provides relief from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness of the nose. Zincold Plus Tablet works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. It should be taken with food. The dose and duration will depend on what you are using it for and how well it helps your symptoms. Use it regularly and do not discontinue using it until the doctor tells you it is alright to stop. It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, dryness in mouth, insomnia, and diarrhea in some patients. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms. Before using the medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any other illnesses or disorders. It may also affect, or be affected by, some other medicines you are using so let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. It should be used with caution in patients who are alcoholic or have liver or kidney disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors first before using the medicine. Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Zincold Plus Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zincold Plus Tablet is to be taken with food.

AlcoholUNSAFE

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Zincold Plus Tablet.

PregnancyCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Zincold Plus Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

DrivingUNSAFE

Zincold Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

KidneyCAUTION

Zincold Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zincold Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Zincold Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

LiverUNSAFE

Zincold Plus Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Zincold Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
